CDL Truck Driving Program

Local Commercial Truck Driving, Dump Trucks and Equipment hauling

Associated Training Services (ATS), our nation's oldest and largest heavy equipment operator school, also trains people in truck driving and Class-A CDL.  ATS has short term truck driver training programs that can help you learn truck driving, get your CDL and find a job driving a truck in the construction, excavation, road building, sand and gravel or mining industries.

ATS Schools can put you in the driver's seat of a Class-A tractor trailer, and in just two or four weeks, have you ready to pass your CDL Road Test and on your way to an excellent job market as a local truck driver.  These are home-every-night truck driving jobs that pay well and give you a great sense of pride and respect.

Our training school has been in operation for over 45 years, and it was truck driver training where we got our start. We take great pride in making sure our students, graduates and their employers are satisfied with the training programs and services we offer. Our training programs focus on the behind-the-wheel skills of truck driving and tractor-trailer operation.

All ATS graduates receive our career services assistance giving them employment leads in their local community. The career opportunities in truck driving are some of the most widespread and well paying you will find in any job market such as:

  • Equipment Transporting
  • Dump Trucks/Trailers
  • Sand & Gravel
  • Paving
  • Concrete/Asphalt
  • Mining
  • Freight Haulers
  • Construction Materials
  • Tankers

The ATS truck driving program consists of classroom instruction in subjects such as Department of Transportation rules, safety and safe operation of equipment, and CDL regulations. Behind the wheel training includes over the road driving, backing exercises, pre-trip inspection, coupling and uncoupling. This behind the wheel instruction also includes preparing the student for the CDL road test. Our Schools want to make sure you pass your CDL road test. The ATS truck programs are scheduled full time, three weeks, Monday through Friday.
