"Find something you love to do, and you'll never have to work another day in your life."
Founder, Associated Training Services
In 1959, the Klabacka family patriarch, Robert Klabacka, founded the National Institute for Concrete Construction in Madison, Wisconsin. The Klabacka family organization has operated on Robert's key principles from the very beginning. These principles embody our motto:
Quality, Integrity, and Pride
Robert Klabacka founded the Diesel Truck Driver Training School in 1963. The school is still located on the same eighty-acre tract of land near Madison, Wisconsin.
In 1996, Associated Training Services (ATS) spun off from Diesel Truck Driver Training School and today is still affiliated with the school. Since then, the school has expanded into other training areas, has achieved national recognition, and has established key relationships with government agencies and other training institutions and funding organizations.
Today, Robert Klabacka's six sons operate ATS and its sister organizations.
ATS Mission Statement
ATS seeks to be the leader in the vocational training industry by offering a variety of skill oriented training programs in heavy equipment operation, crane operation, truck driving, safety, and the construction trades while maintaining the highest standards of quality and integrity.
